The Vermont House of Representatives will announce NVT series youth athletes who participated in the USASA National championships. If you are an athlete or want to support one of these great kids join us in Montpelier!
Meet at 9:30 1st floor main entrance.
Here is some of the language:
Whereas, the United States of America Ski and Snowboard Association held its annual national championship from March 31-April 12, 2023 at Copper Mountain, Colorado, with divisions supporting athletes of all ages and abilities, and
Whereas, several Vermont youth snowboard athletes represented the state in the giant Slalom and Slalom, with free ski and snowboard athletes both represented the state in Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and Boarder/Skier cross events, among almost 2,000 ski and snowboard athletes from around the country.
(The names and hometown of each athlete will be read.)
Now therefore be it resolved by the House of Representatives congratulates the aforementioned exceptional athletes for their successful performance at the USASA national championship and
Be it further Resolved that the Secretary of State be directed to send a copy of this resolution to each of the individuals.
